Community Outreach
COMMUNITY OUTREACH

Sapphire Technologies is committed to improving the quality of life and enhancing the vitality of the communities in which we operate. Through our Community Outreach Programs, we provide support to causes reflecting employee and community interests by the means of employee volunteer efforts, corporate initiatives, and monetary donations.

Sapphire’s charity support focuses on two major areas: child health and welfare, and cancer prevention and research.  In championing these causes, Sapphire has aligned its efforts with well respected organizations that are compatible with our corporate objectives.

Methods
Sapphire demonstrates its leadership as a concerned community partner by encouraging and facilitating participation in the following ways:

Corporate Giving Program
Sapphire’s Corporate Giving Program is committed to increasing opportunities and improving the quality of life in our communities, both locally and globally. Through our Corporate Giving Program, donations and outreach activities are given to non-profit, non-religious, and non-political organizations with an emphasis on Child Health and Welfare and Cancer Prevention and Research. These programs are supported on a corporate level and represent the company as a whole.

Sapphire’s Employee Giving Program
Through our Employee Giving Program internal employees have the ability to make monetary donations to the Sapphire endorsed charity of their choosing through scheduled payroll deductions. In additional, at the end of the year Sapphire’s corporate office will provide a matching tie-in to the final donation amount presented to each organization.

Office Matching Program
Sapphire’s Office Matching Program provides budgeted funds for each Sapphire regional office to be used to support approved charity ventures in their local communities.

Volunteer Days
Sapphire employees receive one full work day (or equivalent hours) per calendar year to volunteer at the non-profit organization of their choice. Employees are highly encouraged to utilize this time to participate in a charity event that is meaningful and convenient for them.
